Dinner Menu
Dinner tonight was: Corn, pickles, and pasta with eggs melted over it.
Dinner last night was: Rice, onions, and raisins
Dinner the night before was: Buckwheat oatmeal with chocolate, cheese and cinnamon melted over it.
Keep in mind that I am the only one eating this food. Gollum wouldn’t think of eating it. Tonight when I reminded her that I don’t like eggs she said, “to me its very tasty,” while she is sitting at the table with a completely different meal. I don’t feel bad not eating what she cooks, she seems to remember only the food I don’t like, and serves it to me every night. And she has never once asked me what I like. I hate Gollum. I think I am going to make a list for her, so she knows what I like and don’t like. I think it will look something like this.
Foods I Don’t Like: Russian Food
Food I Do like: Everything else, especially yogurt.
Privet, Miriam. Your blog is so much fun to read! I am sorry to hear you are having a hard time with Russian food. Did you have a chance to try some of their salads, e.g. Stolichniy salat, Shuba pod Seledkoy (salad with herring). They are pretty good and they are very common in our Azerbaijani cuisine too. Check out my blog http://www.azcookbook.com. Have fun discovering Russia! Poka
